The Independent Care Waiver Program (ICWP) and the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) are Medicaid-funded initiatives in Georgia designed to support individuals with special healthcare needs. ICWP helps adult Medicaid members with physical disabilities or traumatic brain injuries (TBI) live independently in their homes or communities, rather than in hospitals or nursing homes. GAPP provides skilled and unskilled care services to medically fragile children aged 5 to 21, at no cost to families. Both programs are operated under the Georgia Department of Community Health and aim to enhance the quality of life for eligible participants
